(1648) Shajna is an asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on September 5, 1935 by the Russian astronomer Pelageja Fyodorovna Shain at the Crimean Observatory in Simejis .
The asteroid is named after its discoverer and her husband Grigori Abramowitsch Schain .
