dip is a Japanese rock band with strong psychedelic influences. It was founded by Yamaji Kazuhide. Their style is reminiscent of Motorpsycho and Swervedriver , the vocals of Talking Heads .

history

dip emerged in 1991 from the band Dip the FLAG . The first album Dip (1993) reached the 1st place in the Japanese indie charts. In particular, their third album Love to Sleep (released in 1995) attracted attention and was voted one of the top 100 Japanese albums of the 1990s. They also worked on various film scores.
