The graduate in business or the business graduate (FH) Administrative Management is a professional qualification in the degree program Public Management . The subject is offered as a regular course of study, often also as a postgraduate course, at a university of applied sciences . The average duration of study is eight semesters, and five semesters in advanced studies. The graduates graduated with the academic degree Diplom-Kaufmann (FH) .

The diploma course was replaced by a bachelor's program in public management with a standard course duration of six semesters.

The admission requirement for the course in Germany is in principle a higher education entrance qualification or a technical college entrance qualification. The individual universities can also require further requirements (e.g. professional experience, special study achievements).
