The Beathoavenz are a music producer duo from Berlin , which consists of the DJs Smoli (Zafer Kurus) and Perry (Tomas Vojnović-Schmidt).

life and career

The Beathoavenz have been producing since 1998. Their first productions were used by groups such as KMC or Harleckinz . In 2002 they produced three songs for 4Lyn . They have had their own music studio in Berlin-Wedding since 2003 and moved to Berlin-Kreuzberg in 2008 . In 2003 the album Mask by Sido was also released . The remix for the song Mein Block achieved great popularity. This was followed by productions for the rappers Bushido , Fler and Harris , but also for pop musicians like Bintia . The artists Dina Rae , Ying Yang Twins from the USA and the Polish rappers WWO have already used beats from the two Berlin DJs. Since 2009 the Beathoavenz have had their own radio show on the Berlin radio station Kiss FM . On Wednesdays from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. they only play hip hop and urban music.

Beathoavenz are committed to learning to read and write as part of the “iCHANCE” campaign, which is carried out by the Federal Association for Literacy and Basic Education

In 2011 the Beathoavenz took part as producers in the music show Cover my Song on VOX . The soundtrack for the 2016 comedy film Wir sind die Rosinskis was written by Beathoavenz together with the singer Jasmin Shakeri.

Own publications

In 2006 the Beathoavenz released their first mixtape called Der neue Standard via the Berlin independent label Aggro Berlin . Only rappers from Berlin are represented on the publication. In addition to Sido, Fler and Harris, Frauenarzt , MC Bogy, Mr. Long , Alpa Gun , B-Tight , Megaloh and Bass Sultan Hengzt can also be heard.
