Valezka (* 31 October 1981 in Frankfurt am Main as Valeska Velcro ) is a German R & B - singer .

Life

Valezka was born the first of four children to a German mother and an American father. She attended a secondary school in Frankfurt and finished it with secondary school leaving certificate.

In 1999 Valezka was introduced to rapper Kool Savas and his producer and then girlfriend Melbeatz by singer J-Luv . Together with Valezka they worked on different songs in Berlin and in 2001 the single Haus & Boot was released, on which Valezka sings the refrain.

In 2003 Kool Savas released the single The best day of my life from his album of the same name The best day of my life and Eko Fresh's King of Germany , in which Valezka was involved.

Due to internal differences, Valezka and Eko Fresh separated from Optik Records in the same year. Valezka left Berlin and the Optik Records label to move to Cologne with Eko. After founding the label German Dream , Eko released his first album Ich bin jung undnenee die Geld, which contains some songs with Valezka.

In April 2004 Eko Fresh released the single LOVE (Life of Valezka & Eko), which entered the Media Control Charts at number 16. The album of the same name was released in March of the same year.

Two months later, the single New Men Needs the Land , a remake of Ina Deter's hit, was released . In September 2004 Valezka was hired as a singer for the opening act for US singer Kelis. Valezka received her first appreciation from the music industry for her solo project with a nomination for the Eins Live Krone.

At the end of 2004, Valezka and Eko Fresh separated. On her website you can read that she and Eko have developed in different directions both privately and musically.

In August 2005 the single Nonplusultra was released , which was last released on the Sony / BMG label. At the same time, she designed a collection called Young Spirit-inspired by Valezka together with Reno . Ultimate was also the theme song of the commercial for this campaign.

In June 2007 their seven-track EP Vorspiel was released for free download.
