The main purpose of the song was to make Fler known to a wider public. At the beginning he introduces himself as “Newcomer of the Year”. In the chorus he raps about the connection to his label Aggro Berlin , which he describes, referring to its logo, as his "team with the saw blade". In the first verse, Fler greatly appreciates himself, his label and his rap, while he describes the music of other rappers, who are not explicitly mentioned, as "out". He rap “with pure hatred” and shit on the hip-hop magazine Backspin , because he is now mentioned in the Berliner Kurier . The second stanza is about Fler's past, in which he got on the wrong track and was dependent on the welfare office . But through his rap, he has now got a label deal with Aggro Berlin in addition to Respect, which means that nothing stands in the way of his career.

Music video

The music video for AggroberlinA is in black and white and was shot in Berlin . It shows Fler in different locations around the city as he raps the text into the camera. Fade-ins show graffiti by Aggro Berlin and Fler on house walls, scenes of a kickboxing fight, as well as Fler rapping the song in the studio. Towards the end of the video, the instrumental changes to the Sido-RMX of the song, with the Aggro Berlin rappers Sido and B-Tight now also appearing in the video.
