The Spezializtz are a German hip-hop group from Berlin . The group consists of rappers Dean Dawson and Harris .
Band history
The title Known yes! (with Immo ) and Afrokalypse (with Afrob ). The work could not claim any significant chart positions for itself, but the two Berliners toured Germany. In 1998 the album GBZ-Oholika was released on major label Columbia / Sony .
The follow-up album GBZ-Oholika II , released in 2000, was released via the German branch of the American label Def Jam. The album was more unsuccessful than the debut, because Def Jam Germany made mistakes in marketing the sound carrier and the content of the album did not differ that much from the first part.
Until 2002 both artists are represented solo or as a specialty on various albums and samplers. With the sampler GBZ Connectz released in 2002 , they briefly returned.
In the following years the two artists devoted themselves to their solo projects. Dean Dawson founded the Streetlife Records label with DJ Desue and released two albums. Harris worked under the name DJ Binichnich and was then represented on various Aggro Berlin publications.
In July 2007 their third album GBZOholika III was released.
