DJ Stylewarz (* 1971 in Bremerhaven ) is Michael Whitelov's stage name . He is one of the most popular hip-hop - DJs in Germany, where he helped to shape the German hip-hop early stage.

Life

DJ Stylewarz was active in hip-hop jams from 1984 and co-founded the Britcore- oriented band No Remorze , whose aggressive hardcore hip-hop caused a sensation in the young German scene. Stylewarz established itself as one of the first well-known German DJs and, like few other DJs, shaped German hip-hop culture in its early stages. He is represented on various samplers such as Alte Schule or Kill the Nation with a Groove . He was also the host DJ for the first German-language hip-hop television program Freestyle at VIVA .

From 1996 he supports the crossover band Such a Surge with the albums Was Special (1998). chaos (1999) and The Surge Effect (2000). DJ Stylewarz had other features with D-Flame , Torch , Toni L. , Jan Eißfeldt and Ferris MC (at the time part of the F. A. B. formation ). With Wildstyle , DJ Stylewarz had a radio show on the open channel together with DJ Phax .

In 2002 DJ Stylewarz released his first producer album The Cut , in which Ferris MC, Torch, D-Flame, Eißfeldt, Immo , Fiva MC and No Remorze took part. The album reached number 82 in the German album charts.

In 2005 DJ Stylewarz supported your favorite rappers on your favorite album and on the tour that followed. In 2009 the album In Deep Concentration was released under the name Double Trouble with DJ Haitian Star .
