The Freaks Association Bremen , also known as FAB was a Rap - music group from Bremen and consisted of three members flowin Realty , Ferris MC and DJ Pee .

Band history

The band was founded in 1993 by Immo, Ferris and DJ Pee in Bremen. Just one year later, progress was made: In addition to appearances, FAB were able to take part in the Nordseite sampler with two pieces . You got to know the hip-hop musicians Spax , MC Rene and Der Tobi und das Bo , who were very active at the time , and produced together with them. The indie label MZEE signed the group and released the first single. In 1994/1995 the debut album Freaks LP was released , which is still regarded by fans as a milestone in German-language hip-hop development. The popularity also grew through FAB's contribution to the class of '95 sampler, as well as its own music video and appearances on the VIVA show Freestyle . In 1996, apart from a few features, it remained with befriended musicians, e.g. B. Tobi and Bo or massive tones , rather calm around the group. In 1997 the major label Sony / BMG expressed interest in FAB, which is why the production of a new album began. Later very popular performers like the Beginner or Afrob were involved in this work. Due to an immense argument, allegedly due to Ferris' increased drug use and the progressive manic depression Immos, the group separated before the end of the second album. With the ERiCH private EP and another single, however, some music made its way to the outside world. Finally, all FAB members went their own way.
