Dean Dawson (born June 6, 1977 in Berlin ) is a Berlin rapper .

Career

Together with the rapper Harris he was successful under the name Spezializtz in the 1990s . He founded the hip-hop label GBZ Imperium . On this label they released the album GBZ Oholika I with guests such as B. Afrob (Afrokalypse), Immo (Kennst Ja) or Ferris MC (Faker). GBZ Oholika II appeared with guests such as Moses Pelham , Da Fource , DJ Thomilla and Afrob.

GBZ Connectz, on the other hand, was a sampler that featured D-Flame , Bektas , Curse , Afrob , Bintia , Black Kappa, Samy Deluxe , Azad , Xavier Naidoo , Charnell and Ferris MC.

The last specialty feature was on the DJ Desue album Art of War .

In 2004, Dean regained attention with his single Hip Hop Music (It Will Never Die) , which also featured Afrob and D-Flame in the video. He was also on the ASD record. Who would have thought? and featured on Afrob's third solo album, Hammer . In the meantime Dean has founded his own label Streetlife Entertainment , through which he also released a solo album called Streetlife Report in 2005. On June 6, 2006, he released his second solo project called D-Day , a reference to B-Day , because Dawson was born on June 6th. The album was mainly produced by Bock Auf'n Beat , Plattenpapzt , DJ Desue and Montana Beats . Feature guests include Afrob, D-Flame, Deso Dogg , Kaisa and Joce & Reza .

In the summer of 2007 the third Spezializtz album GBZ Oholika III (with Harris) was released.

In 2008 he took part with the Far East Band for Saxony in the Bundesvision Song Contest with the piece Unfassbar , where he took fifteenth place.
