Direct flight

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A direct flight is a flight between two locations. In contrast to a non-stop flight , this can also include one or more stopovers . Depending on the airline, a change of aircraft may also be planned. In any case, the flight number is retained.

Direct flights are often offered in code share mode, then with different flight numbers for the same aircraft.

According to a judgment of the Würzburg District Court, the interruption of a direct flight does not constitute a travel deficiency in German law . The Rostock District Court, however, assessed a stopover on a direct flight as a travel deficiency and awarded the plaintiff a reduction in the price of ten percent of the price.
