The owner-managed Diringer & Scheidel group of companies (D&S) with its headquarters in Mannheim and over 3600 employees is one of the medium-sized companies in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region as well as in Berlin / Dessau / Leipzig , Karlsruhe and is also active in France, Luxembourg, Italy and Austria.
history
Diringer & Scheidel was founded in 1921 as a construction company. Large real estate has been developed since the 1980s and then marketed to institutional and private investors. In 2020, the civil engineering and pipeline construction division was strengthened, in which Scheven GmbH was taken over.
Construction and project development
The operational areas include building construction, industrial construction, turnkey construction as well as civil engineering and pipeline construction and trenchless, high-tech rehabilitation in sewer and pressure pipe areas. Another area of the group is the extraction of raw materials and the production of building materials in its own factories.
Service sector
The subsidiaries Accurata Immobilienverwaltung and D&S Building Management look after around 9,000 residential and commercial units. Avendi Senioren Service GmbH and Ariva Hotel GmbH are active as developers and operators of service properties ( assisted living , inpatient / outpatient care, hotels) . Avendi operates 21 senior facilities for inpatient care and assisted living as well as five mobile care services. At Ariva in Mannheim include five hotels including the Radisson Blu , the Hilton Garden Inn and the Best Western Hotels Steubenhof Hotel and LanzCarré . With CRM Center & Retail GmbH , the group has also had an operating company for retail properties and mixed-use quarters since 2017.
