Disasting
Disasting is a stone setting in Svarte west of Ystad in Skåne in Sweden .
Disasting is located south of the coastal road (Västra Kustvägen) on the beach and is a rectangular 30 m long and 16 m wide stone setting of an unclear time position. The stones could be the remains of a long dog from the Neolithic Age , made around 3300 BC. During a partial excavation carried out in 1920, a paving was found in the middle, on which burned human bones lay, which date to the Iron Age , i.e. the turn of the times, but this does not match the monumentality of the complex, so that it is a re-use got to. Local tradition says that the virgin Disa had her seat here.
The Balkåkra drum was found north of Svarte .
