Disc cameras from different manufacturers

The disc cameras were an attempt in the early 1980s to introduce a new recording format ( Kodak disc film ) to simplify the handling of media in development. However, this format did not catch on and disc cameras quickly disappeared from the market .

The films consisted of a circular disc with a plastic hub, inserted into a light-tight envelope made of cardboard with an exposure window. This footage is also no longer available.
