Helsinge is a Danish city in the north of the island of Zealand and was the administrative seat of the municipality of the same name in Frederiksborg Amt until the municipal reform in 2007 . Since then it has belonged to the Gribskov Commune .
The municipality of Helsinge was established in 1970 from the former municipalities of Helsinge-Valby , Ramløse-Annisse and Vejby-Tibirke , as well as the parish of Mårum and, with an area of 145.81 km², was one of the largest municipalities in northern Zealand.

Attractions
- Mor Gribs Hule (German Mother Gribs Cave) is a megalithic complex of the funnel beaker culture (TBK), which was built between 3500 and 2800 BC. BC originated. It is located southeast of Helsinge not far from Helsingevej.
