Disc Barrow
The disc barrow is a relatively rare, concentrically constructed special shape of the prehistoric hill Grabs that primarily in southern England (mainly in Wessex , isolated), but also in the Netherlands and Orkney occurs. It consists of a wall, a moat and the tumulus and is classified in the Bronze Age . There are many bell barrows and disk barrows in the Winterbourne Stoke Barrows area . In addition, a distinction is made in Great Britain with Bowl Barrows , Pond Barrows and Saucer Barrows .
Flowerdown at Littleton is the most famous disc barrow .
