Discantus fair

The Discantus fair is a musical form of the Renaissance . The cantus firmus of this mass is in the treble , in contrast to the tenor mass and the treble-tenor mass . It disappears in the 2nd epoch (approx. 1460–1490) of the Franco-Flemish vocal polyphony , which is mainly characterized by the late Dufay and Johannes Ockeghem .
