Discodance

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Disco dance is a street dance dance sport .

style

Disco dance consists of movements from freestyle and jazz . In some places, however, the dance also contains movements from DanceArobic, video clip dancing and ShowDance. It differs significantly from HipHop and D4F (Dance for Fans). The fast movements of the body are very dominant in disco dance. Choreographies are either given by a teacher or trainer, designed by the dancer himself or simply improvised freely. The choreographies are not tied to a specific music and can therefore be danced to any title. Remixes of current top ten hits are mostly used as music, with driving beats and the tempo specifications important.
