DisplayID

DisplayID is a data structure that a computer monitor uses to describe its capabilities. DisplayID is a VESA standard and the successor to EDID . The current version 1.3 dates from 2013 and is supported by Microsoft Windows and the Linux 3.19 kernel .

Version 1.4 of the Displayport Standard was published on March 1, 2016.
