District 13 (Tehran)
District 13 ( Persian : منطقه ۱۳ شهرداری تهران) is a district of Tehran . The district is located in the east of Tehran and is bordered by Damawand Street in the north, Yasini Highway in the east, Piroozi Street in the south and Hafdeh Shahrivar Street in the west. Due to the military, industrial and commercial centers in the district, it is used by more than 10,000 commuters daily. The Iranian Air Force is based in District 13. The most important trading centers in the region are Damavand Industrial Order and Dehghan Commercial Order .
There are 154 schools and 46 mosques in District 13 . Mohammad Ali Najafi , the mayor of Tehran , appointed Morteza Rahmanzadeh as district mayor of the 13th district on September 11, 2017. There are also 13 districts and six metro stations as well as other leisure facilities.
