Diversey, Inc. is a manufacturer of cleaning and hygiene products and primarily supplies its products to catering, medical and food-producing companies, as well as wholesalers and building service providers. From 1996 to 2002 the company operated under the name DiverseyLever and from 2002 to 2010 as JohnsonDiversey and was a subsidiary of SealedAir Corporation
history
The company was founded in Chicago in 1923 by August and Herbert Kochs as a subsidiary of their Victor Chemical Works and is named after Diversey Avenue in Chicago. It was acquired by Molson in 1978 , and Herbert Kochs retired the following year as CEO.
While at Sealed Air, Diversey Care focused on a strategy of technological innovation. This included the launch of the first global line of commercial cleaning robots in the US and Europe, as well as a digital food safety management platform that enables organizations to monitor regulatory compliance in the food industry.
