The Djúpifjörður is a fjord in the southern West Fjords of Iceland .

It branches off from Þorskafjörður , which is in the north of Breiðafjörður . Its mouth between the headlands of Grónes and Hallsteinsnes is less than a kilometer wide, with a few islands in front of it. The fjord protrudes 6 kilometers into the country.

Inside the fjord there is a section of Vestfjarðavegurs S60 that has not yet been paved here. There are studies as to whether and how the course of the road can be improved in this area.
