Djalu Gurruwiwi

Djalu Gurruwiwi ; born on Wirriku Island, one of the smaller Wessel Islands , Northern Territory , Australia , in the early 1940s (before World War II ), is a clan - elder of the Galpu clan of the Yolngu ethnic group . He is an internationally renowned didgeridoo maker and since the turn of the millennium has begun to act as cultural ambassadors for his people with members of his family and clan .
