Dockyard Point

The Cape Dockyard Point (former name: Banyan Point or Banyon Point ) in the West African country Gambia lies in the mouth of the River Gambia in the Atlantic Ocean on the southeast coast of the St. Mary's Iceland .

The side of the island facing away from the sea is largely used here at the cape as a port for pirogues and small boats.
