Dodge & Cox is a US investment company headquartered in San Francisco , California . It was founded in 1930 by Van Duyn Dodge and E. Morris Cox in San Francisco. The company's funds have assets under management of $ 235 billion as of December 31, 2007.

As of December 2015, Dodge & Cox had assets of $ 270 billion under management.

Dodge & Cox holds a 5.87% stake in the electronics group Matsushita . Furthermore, Dodge & Cox holds a 10.09% stake in the world's largest brick manufacturer Wienerberger and also larger shares in General Motors and Infineon .

In August 2016, Dodge & Cox reduced its stake in Petrobras to less than 5%.
