Doheny master

As Doheny Master ( Engl. Doheny Master) is an unnamed known illuminators referred to the 1520 or 1530 in a workshop in France in Tours or Paris worked. He is one of the painters grouped under the name of the 1520 workshop , which also includes the Rosenwald Master, the Master of Claude de France and the Master of the Getty Epistles .

The Doheny master got his emergency name after the illustrations he created for a manuscript of the Bible . The book, illustrated with almost a hundred colorful miniatures with biblical scenes, was owned by Estelle Doheny, art patron and collector of manuscripts from Los Angeles in the United States.
