Dolfynstrand ( Afrikaans for dolphin beach ; English Dolphin Beach ) is a seaside resort on the Southern Atlantic Coast of Namibia . It is part of the Langstrand district , about 15 kilometers north of the town of Walvis Bay . Dolfynstrand is in the Walvis Bay (Land) constituency .

Dolfynstrand was founded in the 1970s and has only a few hundred inhabitants, but can have several thousand visitors during the holiday season.
