Dolmen de la Pastora
The Dolmen de la Pastora, discovered in 1860, is located in "Valencina de la Concepción", near Seville in Spain . The complex, excavated in 1868 and in the 1960s, was built around 2000 BC. As with the Dolmen de Matarrubilla, the entrance is provided with a modern gate. The facility is enclosed.
The Andalusian corridor consists of a 40 m long corridor, which has not been preserved at the front end, and a round chamber 2.5 m in diameter. The chamber ceiling is designed as a cantilever vault . The corridor, 0.6 m wide and between 1.5 and 1.9 m high, is divided into three sections by protruding plates. It consists of slate slabs and is covered by limestone slabs. The orientation to the west distinguishes it from the approaches to the other megalithic complexes in Spain.
