Dolmen de la Planche à Puare

The Dolmen de La Planche à Puare is located on the Anse des Broches, on the north coast of the Île d'Yeu in the Vendée department in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

Dolmen de la Planche à Puare

About 3000 BC The Dolmen de la Planche à Puare was built in BC and has a chamber in front of the head and two side chambers. Almost all of its bearing stones and capstones have been preserved, but not the hill. It is the only exactly cross-shaped dolmen with side chambers ( French Dolmen transepté - en forme de croix ) of this type.

Lann-Mané Bras A. is a dolmen with a narrow corridor and a greatly expanded cruciform chamber area and a shortened head niche.

The Allée couverte des Tabernaudes is about 500 m to the east .
