Between 3500 and 3000 BC The Dolmen de las Peñezuelas , built in BC, is located in the remains of a small round hill on the western edge of the village of Granucillo in the province of Zamora in Castile-León in Spain .

De Las Peñezuelas is a round passage tomb, reconstructed in 1998, made from large blocks of quartz . It consists of a round chamber made of eight side stones with a corridor to the south, which was largely destroyed by the construction of the neighboring road (two stones have been preserved). All capstones are missing if the dolmens of this type, which are always found without capstones, each had capstones.

The facility was excavated in the 1930s and then again in 1985. The finds consist of flint fragments , geometric stones, a knife, an arrowhead and parts of a chain made of slate beads .

Together with the neighboring dolmen of San Adrián , the Dolmen de las Peñezuelas was placed under protection in 1994 .
