Dysse in Frostrup Skov

The dolmen in Frostrup Skov (also called Birket Runddysse) is located north of Kettinge, on the southern edge of the Frostrup forest in the extreme south of Toreby on the Danish island of Lolland . The dolmen dates from the Neolithic around 3500–2800 BC. And is a megalithic system of the funnel beaker culture (TBK).

The hill around the dolmen is a flat mound of earth 5 to 6 m in diameter. The chamber consists of five orthostats , three of which carry. The bearing stones are quite small and inclined inward. Two bearing stones are rectangular and made of porphyry . The almost 2.0 m long, 80 cm wide capstone is about 1.0 m high. Its bottom is flat. The chamber is about 1.0 m long. Its original width of access and the type of system cannot be determined.
