The dolmen of Meehambee (in the townland Mihanboy, Irish An Meathán Buí ) is a Neolithic portal tomb (around 3500 BC) discovered in the 1960s in a forest near the village of Bellanamullia near Athlone in County Roscommon in Ireland . It was discovered by children digging up two stone axes . In the British Isles, portal tombs are megalithic systems in which two equally high, upright stones with a door stone in between form the front of a chamber, which is covered with a sometimes huge capstone.

The capstone, which weighs about 24 tons, originally covered 6 bearing stones, the two portal stones of which are about 2.3 meters high. Its support on the back collapsed, so that the capstone slipped backwards, causing the door stone to break. The capstone is now at an angle of around 45 degrees, usually around 25 degrees.
