Trellyffaint Dolmen
The Dolmen of Trellyffaint (also called Trellyfaint or Trellefan - German "home of the toads" ) is a classic Welsh portal tomb . It is located north of Nevern ( Pembrokeshire ) on the south side of a gentle hill in the Nevern Valley between two streams that flow into the Afon Nyfer. Trellyffaint is a double grave with a large or main chamber and a small or ancillary chamber. The endstone the main chamber has about 35 bowl ( English cups ) on the surface, the natural or artificial origin is discussed. It is supported by two stones in the south and a third, load-bearing stone blocks the back of the chamber on the north side. The chamber height used to be greater, but the capstone slipped and broke.

The smaller, neighboring chamber in the northwest consists of only three side stones. It can be a chamber added later or a stone box . Possibly a cairn covered both chambers in the past .
About 200 to the south there is a menhir. About 1.0 km away is the Quoit Llech-Y-Tripedd .
Access: The dolmen stands from the road behind a very conspicuous courtyard with a large silo. From there, however, continue to the west to the next side street to Hof Trellyffaint. There is parking space and a fenced-in access over fields and dirt roads to the dolmen.
The Vitalianus stone is next to the entrance to St. Brynach's Church in Nevern.
