The Dolphin Reef in Eilat

The Dolphin Reef is a dolphinarium and part of the attractions of the Israeli city of Eilat on the Red Sea .

The Dolphin Reef was founded in 1990. It is home to numerous dolphins of the genus Tursiops . It is located on the horseshoe-shaped Almog Beach Marina , which has access to the open sea. The dolphins identify the Dolphin Reef as their home and keep coming back to the Dolphin Reef even when the barrier is opened.

One of the highlights are the shared dives, during which the dolphins voluntarily keep the divers company as they are not baited on food.
