A connecting wing connects the monastery with the Dominican Church of the Annunciation to the south .

history

The monastery can be traced back to the 1st half of the 15th century. Since 1551, the sisters Dominican Sisters of the Third Order and since 1640 with cloistered Dominican nuns of the Second Order.

The existing monastery was built in 1634 and enlarged between 1679 and 1681. The front facing Klosterstrasse shows several gables, two of which are set back from the monastery complex and connecting tract to the church to the south. Behind it are two rectangular courtyards formed by the monastery wings. The sculptural design of the arched portal and the facade structure with a wall niche with a figure of St. Dominikus was built around 1680. There are farm buildings north of the monastery.

In the inaccessible enclosure there is a Pietà from Salzburg around 1410.
