Don Bosco, ami des jeunes is a Franco-Belgian comic created by Jijé .
The realistic drawn biography of the priest and founder of the order Don Bosco was published between February 1941 and December 1942 in Spirou . For the first time, the life of a historical personality was printed in the magazine. A few years later, Jijé created a completely new version under the title Don Bosco .
Dupuis released the album in 1943. The financial success ensured the economic survival of the publisher, whose magazines were banned between September 1943 and October 1944. In 2004 the work was also part of the 17th volume of the complete edition Tout Jijé .
