Knuth Prize

The Knuth Prize (officially the Donald E. Knuth Prize ) is a computer science prize awarded to scientists for exceptional achievements in the fundamentals of computer science. It is named after Donald Knuth and has been awarded every year and a half since 1996 by the ACM SIGACT and the IEEE Computer Society (Technical Committee on the mathematical foundations of computing). The prize is endowed with $ 5,000.
