Donald Tamihere

Donald Tamihere (* 1972 in Gisborne ) is an Anglican Bishop of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia .

Life

Tamihere studied Anglican theology at Saint John's Theological College . On March 11, 2017, Tamihere was consecrated as the successor to William Brown Turei as bishop of the Anglican diocese of Aotearoa and is also one of the three archbishops in the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia. Tamihere is married and has three children. He lives with his family in Gisborne.
