Dong Wuxin
Dong Wuxin ( Chinese 董 無心 ), also Dongzi ( 董 子 - "Master Dong"), was an atheist in China at the time of the Warring States . In the 31st chapter of the book Mozi (Master Mo) it is reported that Dong once debated with some disciples of Master Mo (Mo Di) whether gods and spirits existed in the world. According to the history of the Han dynasty (Hanshu) , in his writing Dongzi (Master Dong) he clearly denied the existence of the gods and the mandate of heaven , which unfortunately was lost a long time ago.
