Dong bu dong?
Dong bu dong? ( Chinese 懂 不懂? , Pinyin Dǒng bù dǒng , German “Did you understand?” ) is the first German-language textbook for Chinese for secondary school students. It was designed by the sinologist , graduate translator and teacher Antje Benedix and is published by Ernst Klett Verlag . In 2006, Benedix received the Friedhelm-Denninghaus Prize (“for special merits in the field of didactics for Chinese as a foreign language”) from the Chinese Association for the first time for her unpublished textbook concept “Dong bu dong?”eV received. The textbook Chinese Speaking, Reading, Writing by Hans-Christoph Raab for high school students was published in 1991 .
