Dongcheng (Xichang)

Dongcheng ( Chinese  东城 街道 , Pinyin Dōngchéng Jiēdào ) is a street district of the independent city of Xichang in the Liangshan Autonomous District of the Yi in southwest China 's Sichuan Province . Dongcheng is home to the government and parliament of the Autonomous District. Dongcheng has an area of ​​5.8 km² and a population of 31,268 (2000 census).
