Doodlez is a series of animated short films that have been aired since Nick started broadcasting in 2005. Doodlez was also part of the program in the Nippez magazine of the Nick after eight program window. By setting the program window, the broadcast of Nippez has been stopped. Doodlez is rarely seen in the normal Nick program.

action

Doodlez is about a cartoon character named Dood, whose actions often bring him to ruin himself. The drawing hand often draws more bad things, so that Dood is held responsible for bad deeds, even though he has nothing to do with them. However, the hand also helps him out of awkward situations.

Dood

Dood is dropped off at a man's door one day with a stork. This educates him within a short film. Now Dood is alone and has to take care of himself. At the beginning of every short film, he is in a positive mood, but it usually becomes bad because of all kinds of abuse. He is very willing to take risks and rarely thinks ahead. His deeds form the catastrophe in a chain, which mostly affects him himself. He cannot wait patiently and wants to have everything he sees very quickly, but can easily get irritated and angry. His memory is short and most of the time he forgets a lot of things quickly. If his competition is even a little better, he immediately thinks of revenge. But Dood is also very creative and imaginative, which often helps him out of a tight spot.

hand

The hand of the draftsman often guides the plot of the story and often puts dood in an awkward position. The Hand Dood often helps out of these positions. Probably the events that happen to Dood are for his own entertainment. The hands, however, probably belong to an amateur who spends a lot of time drawing.

Supporting characters

Guy

Guy is just the opposite of Dood. Where Dood is sensitive and calm, Guy is cold and calculating. He thinks the wrong path is fun.

Doodles

Doodelle could be Dood's boyfriend if he wasn't so mean to her. Instead of doing good, he laughs at her and does other, not nice things.

Shady

The devious Shady always tries to take advantage of Dood. He's the cat burglar. Shady is greedy, confident, and devious.

Martin E. Moose

Martin E. Moose is more of a star guest than a supporting character, because he mostly only has cameo appearances. Dood often sees him in the most impossible situations and is quickly irritated by it. Most of the time he has a drink in a (hand) hoof.

Dim

Dim doesn't try to harm Dood. However, this happens more often because he pays little or no attention to his surroundings and thereby harms dood. Dim is artistically and athletically gifted and thus quickly gets jobs, such as figure skaters, opera singers, etc.

Damsel

Damsel is out of reach, however, Dood would love to get her attention. She's snotty and in a completely different league than him. In most of her appearances she doesn't notice him because she is very vain and superficial.
