Double degree

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A double degree is an academic double degree that is obtained after completing a double degree course . You receive the diploma degree from the university at which you completed your studies and another diploma degree or the corresponding title from a foreign (or your own) university at which you have spent a prescribed number of semesters and, if necessary, passed further examinations . The study regulations , unlike other forms of study abroad, between the two universities agreed in advance. The student does not have to worry about the recognition of academic achievements abroad, as is the case with an " Erasmus semester ". Institutionally, the Franco-German University is particularly active in this area. It promotes the development and implementation of double degree courses. But there are also double degree courses with other countries, for example Spain, Sweden, Great Britain or Poland.

Engineering students can, for example, obtain their double degree in the TIME network .
