Dora's Big River Adventure is a wild water slide in Movie Park Germany . The facility of the Italian manufacturer Preston and Barbieri was built in 2008 as an extension of Nickland . Thematically, the attraction is based on the children's series Dora on the Nickelodeon channel , with which the Movie Park cooperates. The route of the ride is partly housed in a pink, artificial mountain range that has a waterfall.
Course of the journey
After leaving the station, the boat first steers into the mountains in order to make a 180 ° right-hand bend inside. The inner walls of the mountain range are spotlighted by lasers. Then the boat is pulled back out of the mountain by a conveyor belt and brought to a height of 6 m in order to then drive down the first of the two runs. At the foot of the Schuss trip, the boat drives through a small cave filled with spray mist. Now the boat turns into a 180 ° left turn and then drives towards the second transport lift. On it it covers a height difference of 13 m. Once at the top, it starts a gravitational ride on its four wheels through another 180 ° left-hand bend and then descends the second and last descent. When braking, which happens through the water, water is sprayed up several meters from nozzles and then, depending on the weather, hits the spectators of the ride. The return journey to the station area follows.
