Doreen Shaffer , also Doreen Schaffer or Doreen Schaeffer, (* in Jamaica ) is a Jamaican singer. Her real name is Monika Johnson.
She is a founding member of the Skatalites , which have existed since 1963 and are considered the ska band that were instrumental in developing ska .
