Architecture and history

The core of the village church consists of a medieval complex. Major changes took place in the first half of the 18th century. Today the church consists of a rectangular hall with a west transverse tower. Baroque arched windows characterize the side view. The interior is dominated by a uniform baroque wooden barrel vault and simple two-storey galleries. The church in the middle of the walled churchyard and the extensive rectory form an ensemble that characterizes the townscape.

There is a war memorial from the First World War in the cemetery. There is also a grave slab for Peter Schönecker from Salzburg from 1732.
