The Dorn were a family belonging to the imperial city patriciate in the imperial city of Kempten and the surrounding area.

A mention of this family comes from the year 1534, here a Mang Dorn is named as a citizen and council in Füssen . In 1601 Raymund Dorn became mayor of Kempten. He died in 1604.

In 1628 the mayor of Kempten, Hans Ulrich Dorn, married Sabine König . He was captured by the imperial troops during the Thirty Years' War and taken hostage to Tyrol . He died in 1651.

Another mayor from the family table of the Dorns is Raymund Dorn, born in 1612, he was a privy councilor , mayor of Kempten and in 1672 became mayor of the imperial city of Kempten. He died eleven years later.

The so-called Schlössle was a patrician house of the Dorn .
