Thornfeh

The Dornenfeh is a special form of furry Feh in heraldry and is the counterpart to the Lappenfeh . It's a tincture .

A division in several rows of an appropriate height is shown in the heraldic shield or field . These are then coated with semi-circular, scale-like figures with the sheet to the sign foot pointing, occupied and are tinged deviating to the substrate. As the semicircle does not touch the straight cut, the impression of upright thorns is created. That led to the creation of a name. It is important that each row has the same two-tone tincture. The thorn feud can also appear in the coat of arms as a fallen feud and is then emblazoned as a lobe feud.
