Lappenfeh

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In heraldry, the Lappenfeh is a special form of the furry Feh and is the counterpart to the Dornenfeh . It's a tincture .

A division in several rows of an appropriate height is shown in the heraldic shield or field . These are then covered with semicircular, scale-like figures with the arches pointing to the head of the shield and tinged differently to the ground. The semicircular line does not touch the straight cut. It is important that each row has the same two-tone tincture. The Lappenfeh can also appear in the coat of arms as a fallen Feh and is then emblazoned as a thornfeh.
