Dorota Gardias (* 1963 ) is a nurse and chairwoman of the Polish Union of Nurses and Midwives (Polish Ogólnopolski Związek Zawodowy Pielęgniarek i Położnych , OZZPiP).

This union has around 74,000 members (as of October 2007) as well as a member of the Social Democracy of Poland (SdPl). In June 2007, she was at the head of a multi-week protest tent camp in front of the office of then Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński in Warsaw , calling for more dignified wages and a reform of the health care system. Gardias negotiated on behalf of her union with the then Minister of Health and cardiac surgeon Zbigniew Religa .

Dorota Gardias has been the guardian of the Polish trade union federation Forum Związków Zawodowych (FZZ) since 2015 .
